Ban Gioc Falls, now known in Vietnam as a country thác Ban gic, which is a series of waterfalls in the Quy Xuan River on the Sino-Vietnamese border, which lies within the Karst hills of Daxing County in the Guangxi province city Chongzuo, China side, and in the District Trung Khanh, Cao Bang province side of Vietnam, 272 kilometers north of Hanoi.
