Maho is a beach that is located in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, formerly known as the Dutch West Indies. Here there are two groups of islands that form part of the small Antilles in the Caribbean Sea. The Dutch islands are an autonomous part of the Kingdom of Netherlands.

This is what lets you see the plane flying from a very close distance, because St. Maarten itself is famous for Princess Juliana International Airport is located adjacent to Maho beach.

In addition to views of the aircraft, Maho beach is also famous for its large waves. This makes the sport popular for windsurfing and skimboarder. You should be careful when they're on this coast, because local governments have warned that the plane that would come in and take-off can result in serious injury or even death.

An additional fence was recently added at the rear of the runway 10 to prevent irresponsible tourists who depend on the main fence around the runway, it is in because it increases security and to avoid the explosion of aircraft engine flow.

To support a variety of fun activities, white sand beach also has lodging, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Watch the planes flying over the beach is a popular activity that can be done every day with airline departure schedule displayed on the board at the bar and restaurant on the beach.
