Mount Inerie, Nusa Tenggara Island

Inerie Mountain have a height 2245 meters above sea level. Part heavily wooded mountain which only exist at the western slope of the mountain. While the forest at the slopes of the south has been converted to plantations. Most of the forest contained in this area lies at an altitude of 1000-1500 meters above sea level.

In 1882 and 1970 Mount Inerie never erupted. During the dry season this bustling mountain climb, which is between June to August. The specialty of this mountain is from the summit of the mountain, the climbers can freely view the beautiful scenery from every direction.

Scenery City Bajawa northwest, with a thin haze over it, looking like small towns and old at Europe. While at the southern part of the azure visible Savu, clinging tightly at the foot of Mount Inerie.

To get to this place can be achieved from Kupang, the capital of East Nusa Tenggara Province, tourists can get on a plane headed Ende, a city at the island of Flores. Once there, proceed towards the City Bajawa a distance of about 61 kilometers.

Then tourists can continue the trip with rented transport to the village tour, Bena, which is located 15 km to the Bejawa. This is the last village before heading to the summit of Mount Inerie. There is no charge for admission to this mountain.
